On 10th. June, 2009 – a day coincidentally synonymous with the end of the Six Day War – KLFCW participated in a United Nations Asian and Pacific Meeting on the Question of Palestine aimed at strengthening international consensus on the urgency of achieving a two-State solution.

Whether a Head of State and/or Government can unilaterally exempt itself from complying with any provisions of any International Treaties/Conventions (such as the Geneva Conventions) duly ratified by the State without first abrogating the relevant treaty/convention.

Presented a Talk as Panelist at the World Peace Campaign Politeknik Tuanku Syed Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Perlis, Malaysia

On the 19th of November 2009, by invitation from Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Perlis, KLFCW participated in the inaugural “Kempen Keamanan Sedunia” organized by the said Politeknik. The main event for the campaign is the forum entitled: “Forum Keamanan Sejagat”, in which KLFCW was one of the panelist.

The forum, aimed at creating awareness on the atrocities of war to the students, was held at the Dewan Harum Manis at the Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin, Perlis.

There were over 2500 thousand attendees of the forum, and they were mainly students. The panelist were as follows:

1.      Prof. Madya Abd. Rahim Anuar (Kolej Undang-Undang Kerajaan & Pengajian Antarabangsa, UUM).

2.      Pn. Hajah Halimah bt Saleh (Aman Palestin).

3.      Dr. Abdul Waheed Jalal (Kolej Undang-Undang Kerajaan & Pengajian Antarabangsa, UUM).

4.      Pn. Alwizah Al-Yafii Kamal (Timbalan Setiausaha Kehormat, Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War).

5.      Mr. Naji Shukri (Wakil pelajar Palestin, PhD student ,UUM).
KLFCW principally covers explanation on the background of KLFCW, its objectives, the purpose and roles of the tribunal and commission. She also urged the students to volunteer and donate to KLFCW.
